Experience

I have completed many architectural history, conservation, and preservation projects during fellowships, internships, and coursework as a student consultant. I am currently a graduate assistant with the Center for Historic Architecture and Design at the University of Delaware where I complete cultural resource management work like architectural surveys and documentation. This past summer, I held the Sally Kress Tompkins Fellowship with the Society of Architectural Historians and the Historic American Building Survey. In 2018, I was the Rudy J. Favretti Fellow with the Garden Club of Virginia.

I have also held internships with the Avery Research Center for African American History and Culture, the Historic Charleston Foundation, Warren Lasch Conservation Center, Silman Associates, and the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Clients I produced work for as a student have included the George Read House, Trustees of Reservations, Bellevue State Park, Mother Emanuel AME Church, Charleston Museum, St. Mary of the Annunciation Roman Catholic Church in Charleston, South Carolina Department of Historic Resources, and James Madison’s Montpelier.
